Chris Jones has recently visited our school on three separate occasions, in three different capacities, and on each I have been highly impressed with the professional, calm attitude he has both with the children he coaches and others he comes into contact with.

He supported two of our Y5 children who had asked me if they could demonstrate their XMA in assembly. They were unsure of the ‘words’ to put to this, and Chris came and said a few words for them, but very much let them take the limelight. They are two very unassuming boys with a great passion for what they do, and Chris’s support and influence on them was excellent to behold.

Chris then returned to school to run two assemblies, going into more detail with both the older and younger children on not just XMA but also the attitudes that the children needed to have to achieve at it. I attended the older children assembly myself and our children asked some very pertinent questions with Chris answering very honestly.

Finally Chris and some of his team came and did a demonstration for us at our Summer Fair. On a wet day he showed great flexibility and gave us an excellent demonstration with children and adults alike impressed by what they saw – not least of which were my own children!

I would recommend Chris to you as a valuable member of the local community in Knaresborough.
